Being a firefighter is not easy and neither is the process of becoming a firefighter.
Our Members might be professionals, they may be your friends, they may be your neighbors, they may even be a family member, but one thing that is for sure, is our members are always volunteers.
Both you and your home are protected and cared for by the dedicated volunteers of the Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department #1
The Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department, for the past 100 years, has provided fire protection for all the residents of Allison Park. These volunteers are highly trained and have donated countless hours to fire suppression and public service details.
These very dedicated men and women put their lives on the line dozens of times a year in order to keep our community safe. In addition, the Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department works well with surrounding communities throughout the North Hills Area. Our volunteer firefighters respond anywhere, anytime, when needed, and are highly trained through the Allegheny County Fire Academy, Pennsylvania State Fire Academy; additional training is determined by the Chief of the Department.
The Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department also presents fire prevention and safety programs, sponsors a Public Safety day in conjunction with October Fire Prevention Week, and undertakes numerous community, charitable, and civic events.
Our men and women who make up the Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department dedicate countless hours to protect and serve the residents of our community and the large number of commuters who pass through our community each and every day on their way to and from work.
