Hampton VFD #1

The Equipment:

The Hampton Township VFD #1 has two fire engines, a rescue vehicle, and a squad. Click on any of the links for more information on each piece of equipment.

Engine 1 is a 2006 Pierce Dash pumper, with 750 gallons of water and a 1500GPM pump, seating for 6, and has airconditioning for crew rehab during fires.
Engine 2 is a 1998 Pierce Sabre pumper, with 750 gallons of water, and a 1250GPM pump, and seating for 6.
Rescue 4 is a 1992 JB Rescue truck with generator, Hurst tools, and other rescue equipment, with seating for six.
Squad 5 is a 1989 Ford van used for transporting personnel and equipment.

Our most recent acquisition is Engine 1, which arrived in the fall of 2006. We stagger our equipment purchases so that we can replace the fire engines every ten years, and the rescue every fifteen years. Our goal is to purchase equipment which can serve our community's needs through forethought and which will have the ability to adapt to new needs over the equipment's lifetime.
