Chief’s Notes

Monthly Information from Chief Robert Skertich

Residents of Hampton Township:

Welcome to our newly-redesigned website. The members of the Hampton Township Volunteer Fire Department #1 are proud to bring your information about our department's activities and its role in the community.

As always, Fall takes us back to Standard time, and the reminder to check and replace the batteries in your Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors. Please make sure that all of your detectors are working -- and install one if you have none. No one thing can save more lives in the event of a fire than a properly installed smoke alarm.

This is also a great time of the year to update your home's fire plans. Do you and your family have a plan of what to do and where to go in case of a fire or other incidents in your home? Check out the American Red Cross website for more information.

Please check back next month for new Chief's notes.
